Job DescriptionYOUR TASKS
Responsible for planning, sequencing, and controlling Tire Building or Preparation production to ensure daily and future shift plans are executed efficiently while aligning with Curing needs and operational constraints. This role adapts plans in real time, coordinates materials, start-ups and phase-outs, tracks KPIs, and drives communication, reporting, and continuous improvement to support on-time delivery and process stability.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Responsible for Tire Building or Preparation planning, sequencing, and production controlEnsure that the daily production plan is executed by productionPrepare and plan for the upcoming next shift, up to 16-24 hours and prepare the production plan in accordance with the production constraints (tooling, machine and personal availability) for Preparation or Tire BuildingEnsure that the production plan follows the needs of Curing or Tire BuildingPlan production considering the stock of materials, reducing the impact of setups, informing the shop floor, minimizing the losses in the processes, and minimizing rework and work offAdapt the daily production plan to changes during the shift and coordinate with the respective production departments as needed to ensure adherence to the scheduleCoordinate the start-up and phase out of articles during the shift and planning for those activities in upcoming shiftsPlanning of the VO materials and other trial production steps required during the shiftOrganizing miscellaneous planning activities such as PMs, downtime, trials or others as neededTrack production progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust schedules to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery.Ensure timely communication of materials on hold to relevant stakeholders and request disposition.Participate in process improvement projects, daily BT2 for your respective area, & other production meetings as requiredProvide feedback and reports of activities during shift and established/corrective actions takenResponsible for the KPI reporting of the Sequencing department and for discovering improvement activities for department or plant KPIs and monitoring actionsEnsure implementation of measures and maintain controls Be self-managed, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressureFollow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and proceduresOther duties as assignedNOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.
