About the Role

We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our Internal Medicine Clinic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, enjoys working collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

You’ll play a key role in supporting physicians, residents, and nursing staff by assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative tasks. This position offers the opportunity to work across both Internal Medicine and Family Practice clinics, located conveniently across the street from each other.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver basic patient care and assist with treatmentsObtain and document vital signs and patient chief complaintsAlert physicians to any concerns or abnormalitiesCollect patient history and support clinical assessmentsPrepare exam and procedure rooms with necessary instrumentsCollect lab specimens and complete requisitions accuratelyCoordinate workflow among Medical Assistants as neededSecure authorizations for patient referralsPerform front desk duties including registration, check-in, and schedulingRequired Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDGraduate of a Medical Assistant Program or completion of a U.S. Armed Forces medical services training programMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical AssistantMA diploma (certification/registration preferred but not required)American Heart Association BLS certificationProficiency with electronic health records and scheduling softwareAbility to support multiple providers and manage rooming for 15–20 patients dailyWork EnvironmentInternal Medicine Clinic settingMonday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PMWeekly assignments are site-specificProfessional clinical attire required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
