Our program is focused on better preparing students for the business world while providing valuable contributions to our company. There are many different areas within IT that you could work in, including Application Services, Product Management, Infrastructure, Security, Data and Architecture. If you are passionate about making a difference in the workplace, familiar with coding or other information technology skillsets and like solving problems– this could be your new home. **Job Title:** **Cyber Security Intern** **Job Summary** The internship opportunities for Cybersecurity Engineering and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) offer hands-on learning experiences through shadowing experienced professionals and working on real-world initiatives. The Cybersecurity Engineering internship focuses on core security engineering practices, tools, and methodologies, involving tasks such as system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and incident response. The GRC internship emphasizes governance, risk management, and compliance, including policy development, risk assessment, and supporting audits. Both roles provide exposure to industry frameworks, tools, and collaborative team environments, helping interns build practical skills and foundational knowledge in their respective areas. **Relevant Majors include but not limited to:** + Computer Science + Cyber Security + Information Technology + Information Systems + Software Engineering **Qualifications:** + Currently enrolled in a college, university, or certification program and will have at least 1 semester left after internship + You must have a graduation date of December 2026 or later to qualify for the program. + Must be pursuing a degree relevant to the role with a strong interest in numbers/mathematics + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel + Strong written & verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail + Strong organizational, problem solving & analytical skills + Strong interpersonal skills + Strong independent judgment and leadership skills + Ability to collaborate well with others + Must provide reliable transportation & housing Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $18 to $25 per hour. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
