Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced Internal Delivery Manager to join our Hastings team in a newly established, critical leadership role. You will lead a growing in-house trades team, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our internal clients across various trade disciplines including painting, electrical, and carpentry.
You’ll be responsible for end-to-end coordination of work—scoping, pricing, scheduling, and quality assurance—while managing team performance, supporting recruitment and training, and forecasting future workforce requirements.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager (North Island), you will oversee 4x direct reports (Site Foreman) and up to 10x indirect reports, with support from the Maintenance Manager, Innovation & Technology Manager, and wider BGIS team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a multi-trade internal team delivering maintenance services Scope, price, and schedule works to meet client needs and project timelines Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are upheld across all jobs Drive team development, performance management, and succession planning Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver operational outcomes Forecast and align internal resources to meet current and future demandsSkills and Experience
Trade-qualified or hands-on background in maintenance or construction Demonstrated leadership experience managing field-based teams Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Technically proficient, with the ability to work with digital systems and tools Experience working within government or commercial contracts (desirable)Why Join BGIS?
