This transformation brings enormous opportunity, and we’re looking for an Internal Controls Business Partner to help drive governance, risk and control excellence across our Australian and New Zealand markets.

About the role

Reporting to senior leadership and working closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, you will lead the internal controls framework and play a key role in strengthening risk management, compliance and process improvement.

This role is internally titled Manager, Internal Controls and offers a unique blend of business partnering, strategic oversight, and hands‑on delivery.

Key responsibilities

Lead and oversee the internal controls and SOX compliance program across AU & NZDrive effective design, implementation and continuous improvement of internal controlsPartner with senior stakeholders to enhance processes, mitigate risk and support decision‑makingLead testing of control design and operating effectivenessIdentify, evaluate and support remediation of control gapsProvide insights, reporting and recommendations for business leadersLeverage global and regional initiatives to streamline and strengthen governance processes

About you

You will bring:

Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or similar, plus a recognised qualification (CA, CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent)Strong experience in internal controls, audit, risk management or assurance — ideally in a multinational or complex environmentSOX experience and knowledge of control frameworksStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insightsExperience with SAP, governance platforms (OpenPages, Sofy) and analytics tools (desirable)Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilityA proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and ability to thrive through changeExperience mentoring or guiding others (advantageous)
