J.P. Morgan is seeking a creative and energetic communicator to help shape and deliver communications programs for its market-leading Global Sales business within the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB). The Global Sales team connects corporate and institutional clients with J.P. Morgan’s Markets and Securities Services offerings, ensuring they access the right resources, products, and expertise.
As the Internal Communications Vice President within Commercial & Investment Bank you’ll support and often lead communications initiatives for Global Sales, including writing intranet content, drafting executive messages, proofreading, and managing events such as town halls and leadership meetings. Success requires proactive storytelling, strong project management, and excellent writing and verbal skills, as well as collaboration with global teams across Communications, Media Relations, and Marketing. You’ll be a trusted partner to senior leaders, helping them communicate with clarity and purpose, and you’ll have opportunities to work on CIB-wide initiatives. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related degree 7+ years recent experience in the marketing & communications fieldExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills; well-developed strategic thinking, attention to detail and tactical execution skillsProactive by nature and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlinesSolid understanding of the financial services industry Knowledge of corporate employee communications tactics and executionAbility to effectively partner with direct management, team members and clients and to work well with all levels of employees Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high-volume, high-priority initiativesHigh level of independence, energy, integrity and eagerness to learn and contributeDemonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles and accepts accountability and responsibility Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general base familiarity
