The Internal Communications Digital Manager will lead the strategic planning, development and execution of internal communication strategies to support Ascension’s digital transformation project. Reporting to the Director of Internal Digital Strategy, the Communications Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and external vendors, to ensure clear, consistent and timely progress on the project.
In addition to overseeing communication efforts, this role will assist in the migration to the new content management system (CMS), ensuring a smooth transition from the current CMS to the newly implemented solution. This includes working with content owners, technology teams, and business units to plan, develop, and manage content migration efforts while maintaining consistent and effective communications. The Communications Manager will support the transition by coordinating the development of content strategies, updating associate-facing communication channels, and ensuring the integrity and consistency of messaging during the migration process.
The Communications Manager partners with the Content team on content creation and distribution strategy across multiple digital platforms. This includes collaborating with business unit owners, content and technology partners, and ensuring alignment of messaging across teams to drive engagement and adoption. The Communications Manager will also monitor work with the Channels team on analytics, provide recommendations to improve engagement metrics, and support the creation and maintenance of communication practices and governance frameworks.

High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.Additional PreferencesPreferences:
Familiar with enterprise CMS tools such as LumApps, Sitecore, or similar platforms.Strong project management skills.Fluent in internal digital communication tools.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced, matrixed environment.
