Kforce has a client seeking a highly skilled Python professional to support a cross-functional initiative between the Quality Assurance (QA) and Data Innovation teams. Summary: This role focuses on reviewing and challenging existing Python code developed in response to a regulatory finding. The code, originally designed by the QA team, is now being evaluated for broader use and long-term sustainability. The successful candidate will perform an independent assessment of the codebase, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to ensure robustness and scalability. While audit experience is not required, the ability to ask thoughtful questions and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct a thorough review of existing Python code (no new development required) * Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and sustainability concerns in the current setup * Recommend improvements to table structures and overall code organization * Collaborate with QA and Data Innovation teams to ensure objective oversight * Draft a final deliverable summarizing findings and actionable recommendations Team Structure: * Work closely with 2 managers and a team of 3-5 contributors * Engage with operations team members who have performed high-level QC testing * Provide deeper, granular analysis beyond initial quality control efforts
