The opportunity
Due to continued growth within our Risk Consulting service line, we're continuing to expand our leading Internal Audit team with several new Manager roles.
We perform Internal Audit services for our clients across a broad range of industries, including Government, Health, Education and Corporates including top 20 ASX listed entities. We help our clients to improve business process and control measures so that executives are confident key risks are being managed, and decision making can occur with accuracy and at speed. The work we perform has a genuine impact on the organisations we work with and their ability to achieve their strategic goals.

Your key responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of clients, becoming their trusted advisor by supporting them in understanding and managing key business risks and in the design and delivery of their internal audit plans (in both co‑sourced and outsourced environments). Lead teams to deliver internal audits across compliance, financial, operational, and strategic risk areas, managing the full process from scoping through to reporting. Ensuring high quality outcomes while coaching and developing junior team members. Apply your risk and sector-specific knowledge to provide impactful, practical recommendations that help clients manage risks and strengthen their internal control frameworks. Stay current with emerging industry trends, regulatory changes, and EY tools, and apply this knowledge to enhance audit approaches and client solutions. Travel as required to support client needs and engagement delivery.Our roles may be adjusted to work flexibly. Please speak with us about potential options.
Skills and attributes for success
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent qualification. Professional accreditations and qualifications will also be considered favourably (CPA, CISA, CA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, CIPP certification within one year of hire) Proven ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring high‑quality and timely delivery through effective planning and coordination. Strong understanding of core business processes, risks and controls, and how these influence operational and strategic performance. Proven ability to lead engagement teams, setting expectations, reviewing work to a high standard, managing engagement risk, and coaching others. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to tailor written and verbal messaging to senior executives and diverse audiences. Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning, staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.Don’t meet all the criteria?
