Internship Experience Summary:
Collaborate with ACVP boarded veterinary clinical and anatomic pathologists in the review of clinical and anatomic pathology data from nonclinical studies. The focus of these reviews will be the interpretation of clinical pathology data within the context of nonclinical animal studies. These efforts will be supervised by ACVP boarded pathologists at the site as well as remotely located.
Work alongside the veterinary clinical pathologists in interactions and collaborations with the technical staff in the clinical pathology lab.
Shadow veterinary anatomic and clinical pathologists during the workday to experience and observe the tasks and responsibilities associated with working as a veterinary clinical pathologist in nonclinical toxicology.
No required after hours or weekend work
Education/ Experience Required:
DVM/VMD degree
Current enrollment in a residency training program in veterinary clinical pathology conducted at an accredited veterinary school and with oversight by at least 1 ACVP boarded veterinary clinical pathologist.
