Reporting to the Test Services Lead, the Test Services intern will perform internal testing and supporting functions of the Test Services team. Testing functions shall include shielding effectiveness testing of materials and assistance in other internal testing supporting R&D and Applications functions.
+ Reports to the Test Services lead.
+ Performs Shielding Effectiveness Testing and other internal testing for Chomerics needs.
+ Assists in the material readiness for the Test Services Department.
+ Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed fulltime on site.
+ Use of appropriate PPE for designated area.
+ Reports any safety or quality deficiencies to the Test Services leads, following ISO 17025 protocols.
+ Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program in a related field, such as: Electrical Engineering or Physics
+ Candidate shall have completed sophomore year (20 credits minimum) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
+ Preferred knowledge of electronic test equipment such as network analyzers, signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
+ Eager to learn new test procedures and work on different projects.
+ Ability to work independently and within a team to meet time sensitive deadlines.
+ Electrical and Radio Frequency (RF) comprehensions with the ability to understand, learn and solve problems of a technical nature.
+ Ability to work effectively on a variety of scientific, engineering, and manufacturing assignments.
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
+ Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Competitive Compensation
+ Pay Range: $13.03/hr to $21.71/hr
+ No benefit plan eligibility
