**Intern - Procurement Buyer**
Manages operational activities for indirect spend & delivers productivity to the countries he/she covers. You will report to a Sr HR Manager within the Corporate Functions HR team, with team members spread across multiple locations across Europe, and you’ll work out of our Prague location.
This role is part of our **University Relations** program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. **This is hybrid work 3+2!**

+ Works under supervision of Sr. Buyer or Procurement Manager
+ Respond to MRP messages in order to procure material to support production requirements.
+ Responsible for maintenance of purchase orders, monthly forecasting for suppliers, maintenance of key procurement parameters.
+ Dealing with hold racks, invoice discrepancies and customs issues.
+ Procure material according to ordering policies designed to minimize inventory costs and being left with inactive, obsolete, and surplus inventory.
+ Support and seek opportunities to develop and streamline relationships with suppliers. work to improve the purchasing process.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes.
+ The employee is obliged to ensure active participation in company projects, company development, and identification of possible cost lowering measures, improved yield and productivity.
+ Health, Safety, Environment.
+ The employee is duly obliged to secure observance of rules pertaining to health protection and safety at work, work safety in the factory and rules of environment protection.
+ The employee is responsible for tidiness of workplace and for participating in 5S activities.
+ The employee is responsible for ensuring tasks and responsibilities in the Health and Safety field duty specified for respective post in Labour Code and internal instructions.
+ The employee is responsible for supporting good interpersonal relations at work, uses his/her interpersonal skills to get sound cooperation among colleagues at all levels.
+ Strong communication and teamwork skills
+ Self-motivated and capable to work with tight deadlines
+ Good organizational skills with an ability to prioritize
+ Problem Solving skills
+ Proficiency of English and another language is a plus
+ Microsoft Office skills
+ Excellent Technical skills of SAP purchasing system
