After you graduate, Medtronic Articulating Technologies offers many career paths tailored to your skills and aspirations. **Internship Details:** • Start date: March 2026 • Location: Geleen, The Netherlands • Duration: between 16-24 weeks • Working hours: 32 - 40 hours per week, with flexibility during exams and holidays • Work model: Onsite **Responsibilities may include the following as well as other assigned tasks:** During your internship, you’ll focus on a primary project, chosen according to your background, interests, and experience. Below are examples of possible internship projects. **1. Process Characterization** In the design and development stage of our production processes, characterizing those processes is vital. You’ll test and document the relationships between process inputs and outputs and establish process controls to ensure reliability and efficiency. By the end of the project, we’ll have a clear understanding of process performance, highlighting areas for improvement. **2. Increase Equipment Uptime** Some equipment’s uptime can be enhanced by making wear parts more resistant. Improving these components not only reduces wear but can also boost overall equipment performance. This assignment involves designing a more durable part to maximize uptime and efficiency, without compromising other equipment features. **3. Design a Manufacturing Workstation** As we scale up, our manufacturing workstations are continually evolving. Several require redesigns to improve ergonomics, automation, capacity, or efficiency.
