Hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to be on site 10 days per month in Little Island, Cork.

_Purpose of team and role_
The Medical Information organization combines scientific knowledge and communication expertise to deliver medical communications that are meaningful and relevant to Healthcare professionals and patients, enhances patient care and advances the quality and transparency of Lilly research.
With an increased customer demand for virtual communications and self-service options, our goal is to translate complex science into actionable information available online for self-service, enabling patients and health care professionals to make informed and balanced treatment decisions. The role of the Medical Information Science student is to support this mission.
**Responsibilities: (please be mindful that they are students** _) (limit to 5/6 where possible)_
+ Assist the Product Specialist team in proactively creating standard scientific answers to address frequently asked questions from HCP and Patients.
+ Develop accurate, balanced and objective information to be used for Lilly Medical Information Patient website, translating complex science into easy understandable information.
+ Improve our answers further, with visual design to encourage better decision making.
**Requirements:**
+ Currently enrolled in 3rd level education and ready to pursue student placement as part of an undergraduate/masters program
+ Good working knowledge of online platforms
+ Get as excited as us about learning how we can continue to deliver timely and tailored answers to customers from working for the Lilly Medical Information team
+ Previous work experience in the Health Sciences sector is an advantage
+ Good time management skills
**Personal Attributes**
+ Strong writing skills a must. Ability to translate complex scientific information and data into a succinct, technically correct, readable document that patients can understand and use to make decisions.
+ Advanced written and verbal English skills.
+ Use creative and innovative thinking to improve information design.
+ Ability to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverables in a dynamic, evolving environment
+ Ability to work in regional/global team environment and communicate effectively with internal business partners of all levels & disciplines
