This Position reports to:

Quality and HSE Manager
 

As an IT and electronics intern, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, and updating the electronic systems of ABB products for printed circuit board testers and emergency lighting products, thereby ensuring the highest level of quality for our products.

Reporting to the Quality/HSE & Codes & Standards department manager, you will work as an electronics designer (intern) within the operations team.

Your Role: Own the Challenge 

Design and program test software (LabView/Ladder)Help write LabView/Ladder programming documentation, as well as test and commissioning documentation.Participate in program commissioningPerform tests and help debug technical issues by working closely with members of the operations teamIdentify opportunities for improvement in internal processes related to electronics and propose solutions.

What it takes to run what runs the world 

Student pursuing a cegep diploma in computer science or a bachelor's degree in computer scienceExcellent LabView/Ladder skills.Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other departments.Good stress and pressure management in critical situations.Good analytical skillsGood knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
