**Description:** **Hotel Introduction** Hyatt Regency Dongguan, the first Hyatt International hotel in Guangdong province, with Guangzhou bordering it to the north and Shenzhen to the south, is adjacent to the Dongguan Song Shan Lake Government Offices and Vanke Life Plaza. Covering an area of 200,000 square meters, it has a breathtaking lakefront view, making the location a paradise for both business and leisure. JOB DESCRIPTION-GRO INTERN Liaises with Housekeeping and other related departments on daily operations. Establishes a rapport with guests, maintaining good customer relationship. E nsures that all VIPs, Word of Hyatt Members (GLOB above ) and Target Program guests (Ctrip guests ,1 st visit VIP account guests and TikTok guests are checked prior to the arrival of the guest for 100% readiness. This includes cleanliness, amenities and state of repair. E nsures that all VIP/ Long Staying guests are met on arrival and when appropriate, Executive Assistant Manager, Front Office Manager, are informed. Greets and assists at the check in of guests and escorting of VIPs, Word of Hyatt Members and Target Program guests (Ctrip guests ,1st visit VIP account guests and tiktok guests, ensuring that needs are addressed and satisfied. Addressing any other matter or directing guests towards the most appropriate associate Bids farewell to departing guests and escort guests to front doors and / or departing vehicles. Initiates conversations with guests to establish whether any assistance can be offered. Support F ro nt Desk /Concierge /Regency Club in peaks hours if possible Has a thorough understanding of all cashiering functions in the Hotel’s computer system. Ensures that the cashiering and credit procedures are strictly adhered to. Ensures that all guest information and documents are being handled in a proper manner to protect the confidentiality of guest information. To ensure that guest’s room number is not given to unauthorized person as to ensure maximum security for the in-house guests. Ensures that the cashiering procedures are strictly adhered to, that all floats are used appropriately in accordance to Policies & Procedures set by Finance. Ensures that the guests’ bill are presented and collected accordingly. Ensures a sales attitude is adopted at all times and maintains an awareness of all sales opportunities within the Hotel. Ensures a high level of product knowledge of hotel and local area. Maintains and updates VIP guest history and marketing database as laid down in Front office procedures. Ensures a high level of liaison is maintained between Front Office and all other departments within the Hotel. Ensures the A ss istant Front Office Manager or Duty Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from wither customers or other departments. To be knowledgeable and promotes/ upsells Rooms, Outlets and other facilities/ program whenever opportunities arise. Promotes World of Hyatt program to all NO-member guests whenever possible. To be knowledgeable with the various airline frequent flyer program. Complies with all hotel policies relating to Front Office. Complies with all systems and procedures as laid down by the Front Office Manager. Handles basic Business Centre services when required. Handles keys and ensures Security policies are adhered to. Liaises with Bell Service for smooth handling of VIP’ s luggage and transport services. Ensures all master folios due to depart have been checked out and have their respective backups attached. Has a thorough understanding of all the services offered by the Hotel. Reads all memos concerning Front Office. Ensures the correct closing procedures are carried out in an accurate and tidy manner and that all accounts balance before closing. Maintains the GRO Daily Logbook.
