The main focus of this internship is to build a comprehensive and accurate library of electronic component models. The emphasis will be on passive components such as capacitors, inductors, and power modules, which are critical for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) simulations and thermal analysis performed using Icepak software. These component models serve as the foundation for creating system-level simulation models in Ansys.
**Job Responsibilities**
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
+ EMC Component Library Development
+ Conduct detailed tests on electronic components to derive behavioral and simulation models.
+ Develop and document component models to support EMC simulation workflows.
+ Validate and verify models by comparing simulation outputs to experimental test results.
+ Opportunity to assist with system-level EMC modeling and simulations.
+ Thermal Simulation Component Library Development
+ Create thermal network models based on supplier data or test measurements.
+ Develop 3D thermal models for critical components using Icepak.
+ Collect and organize thermal data from suppliers and internal testing
**Collaboration and Reporting**
+ Work closely with simulation experts and the simulation Technical Product Owner (TPO).
+ Prepare technical documentation and reports on component models and validation activities.
+ Participate in regular team meetings and technical discussions.
