Role Overview
JLL Debt & Structured Finance are seeking a motivated Intern to support our growing EMEA platform. This role is designed for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on exposure to real estate finance within a collaborative, high-performing advisory team.
As an Intern, you will work closely with analysts, senior analysts, associates and directors, supporting live financing mandates and internal workflows. The role focuses on learning-by-doing, with structured support, and provides broad exposure to real estate financing across asset classes and European jurisdictions.
This internship offers a strong foundation for a future career in real estate finance and may serve as a pipeline into the Analyst programme for high-performing interns.
Our team’s client base includes many of the world’s largest real estate investment firms, and we cover all asset classes across major European jurisdictions.
We completed $19.3Bn+ of financing transactions in 2025, across 20 European countries.
This diverse offering is unique in the marketplace and gives Interns the opportunity to learn from a broad array of transaction profiles.
The Debt & Structured Finance team works closely with other Capital Markets teams within JLL, offering valuable exposure to other segments of the industry.
Day-to-Day Activities
Business Operations & Team Support: Maintain, update and curate internal case study libraries, ensuring transaction details, lender outcomes and key metrics are accurately captured and readily accessible for live mandates and pitching.
Lender Quote Tracking & Management: Track, upload and organise lender quotes and terms into internal matrices and databases, supporting comparison analysis and data insights.
Financing Project Support: Support live financing projects across multiple property sectors by preparing working materials and assisting with data collation for models and presentations.
Pitch & Origination Support: Support business development efforts by helping prepare pitch decks and RFP responses in PowerPoint, drawing on case studies, market data and precedent transactions.
Transaction Process Administration: Assist with transaction management and administrative tasks including call scheduling, maintaining transaction timelines and supporting internal process coordination.
Research & Internal Support Tasks: Conduct market, sector and client‑specific research and provide ad‑hoc support on internal initiatives to improve team workflows and operational efficiency.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
Demonstrated previous interest in real estate finance, capital markets and debt advisory
High attention to detail with the ability to manage and organise information accurately
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Collaborative team player with a positive and professional attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Curious, motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
