You will have the opportunity to network with other students with the same career interests as you in our program as well as get exposure to senior leaders in our company. And you’ll get paid while you learn! In your downtime, learn how to network and ask our leaders about their experiences to gain greater perspective and learn how you can fit into our family. Core Responsibilities: Complete all assigned projects and tasks. Learn the dry pet food process flow at the facility. Interact with all levels of the facility to complete assigned projects. Network and interact with interns at other Hill’s/Colgate locations and participate in any assigned social events. Present to Hill’s/Colgate leadership a detailed summary of your project(s) including lessons learned and implications going forward. Key Competencies: Proficient with Google Suite applications (i.e., gmail, docs, sheets, slides, calendar, drive) Ability to work off-shift hours Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education: Current student within 1-2 years of their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completion in the following disciplines; Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and/or Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Grain Science, Feed Science, and Supply Chain Management/Logistics, Business Analytics/Information Systems. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
