Job Title: Data & Market Analysis Intern (Full-Time, Hybrid – Amsterdam Office 2 Days/Week)

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data & Market Analysis Intern to join our team full-time. This role involves analyzing customer purchase behavior, segmenting customer data, and supporting market research initiatives to inform strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Technical Requirements:

Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of KNIME is appreciated but not requiredUsage of Tableau is preferred but not mandatory

Profile:

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detailSelf-starter and proactive, continuously seeking improvements in existing processesSocial and an effective communicatorResilient and committed to going the extra mile to achieve resultsAvailable to work full-time, with preferred presence in the Amsterdam office at least two days per week

Internship Requirements:

Enrolled at an educational institute (in business, data analysis, or a related field) for the entire duration of the internshipIf you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the necessary documents related to the internship (e.g., Nuffic agreement)

Responsibilities:

Analyze purchase data from various customers to identify usage patterns and interests in journals not currently accessedDevelop customer segmentation lists to support targeted marketing initiativesExtract usage data, generate actionable insights, and create clear visualizations for Sales teams and other stakeholdersConduct market research to determine optimal pricing strategies for launching new journalsUpdate and standardize user databases to ensure data accuracy and consistency
