Hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to be on site 50% of the month in Little Island, Cork and 50% working remotely.

**Purpose of team and role**
The Source to Pay Centre of Excellence supports the Source to Pay organisation (Global Procurement, Purchase to Pay, and Third Party Risk Management) by analysing data and delivering actionable insights that drive organisational efficiencies and savings.
We offer two exciting internship opportunities for students who want to apply their skills in a real-world business environment.
Depending on your background and interests, you can join one of two tracks:
+ **Data Operations** – ideal for students who enjoy building data pipelines, designing dashboards, and working hands-on with data and technology.
+ **Procurement Business Analytics Partnering** – ideal for students who love solving business problems, analysing trends, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive strategic insights.
Whichever path you choose, you’ll gain practical experience, develop technical and business skills, and be part of a collaborative team that values curiosity, initiative, and growth.
As an **Intern – S2P Analytics CoE – Data Ops** you’ll help shape data solutions that matter - learning by doing, supported by a team that values curiosity and collaboration. We’re looking for someone motivated, proactive, and excited to turn ideas into action.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Develop understanding of Source to Pay data, systems, and business processes to support analysis and reporting.
+ Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and dashboards using tools such as PowerBI and Power Automate.
+ Support data refreshes, testing, and documentation activities to ensure reliability and compliance.
+ Actively engage with your team and stakeholders, connecting the dots between data, technology, and business needs to drive meaningful outcomes.
**Requirements** :
+ Currently enrolled in 3rd level education and ready to pursue student placement as part of an undergraduate program in Business Information Systems, Data Science, or similar.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders; comfortable asking questions and making suggestions.
+ Proactive mindset with the ability to show initiative and solve problems.
+ Demonstrated technical skills in tools such as PowerBI, Excel, SQL, and a programming language (e.g. Python, R).
+ Interest in applying analytics to real business problems and exploring new technologies and techniques.
