The Strategic Sourcing Intern will be part of Disney's International Sourcing and Procurement division, which is responsible for Procurement activities outside of domestic, US and will be responsible for supporting the Southeast Asia (SEA) Strategic Sourcing all goods/services in support of TWDC SEA.
We are looking for a curious mind, with a keen interest in contributing, learning, and applying the full spectrum of sourcing. The ideal intern should be able to write well and possess some form of creativity and zest, good attitude with respectful competitiveness, teachable and adaptable, as well as one who gives off a positive energy.
Responsibilities:
Dedicated Project: Set up Catalogue
Develop a business plan on to build a simple catalogue for on-ground set up for event set-upCreate a database of commonly purchased items relating to event set upResearch on suitable supplier who can provide the servicesEstablish and support relationships with the suppliersCompetitive biddings
Support on the existing competitive bidding exerciseManage the stakeholders and suppliers related enquiry Analyse result submission with markets as a best practice to obtain the maximum quality, service, value and compliance.Data Analysis
Research on latest requisition trends relevant to DisneyIdeate brainstorming of ideas for opportunities on efficiencyVendor liaison responsibilities to ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgetsEnd to end Project management of digital content involving both internal and external stakeholdersOverall
Actively participate and support brainstorming sessions, business reviews and supplier reviewsLiaise with different lines of business and learn synergy for cross cultural workingInternship Requirements:

Requirements:
