**Job Description:**
**Job Summary**
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Neuroscience Digital Health & Data Science Intern to support the Neuroscience Data Science and Digital Health organization within the Digital and AI Measures team. This internship provides hands‑on experience working with digital health technologies, neuroscience data, and analytics used in clinical and translational research.
The intern will support the evaluation, integration, and analysis of multimodal data sources—including speech‑based digital measures, imaging‑derived features, and clinical datasets—while collaborating with cross‑functional data science, clinical, and biomarker teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Support cleaning, validation, and exploratory analysis of digital health and neuroscience datasets
+ Assist with data cleaning and evaluation of speech‑based and imaging‑derived digital measures used in clinical research
+ Contribute to development of analysis workflows and documentation under guidance of senior data scientists
+ Perform data quality checks and summarize findings through figures, tables, and presentations
+ Support literature review and benchmarking of digital health and AI‑enabled measurement approaches
+ Assist with documentation related to data handling and analytical processes and drafting the manuscript
**Required Qualifications**
+ Currently enrolled in Undergraduate or Graduate program in Bioengineering, Neuroscience, Computational Biology and Data Science, Biomedical Engineering and Bioinformatics
+ Completion of at least two years of undergraduate study by internship start
+ Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
+ Experience programming in Python for data analysis
+ Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Prior experience with biomedical, clinical, or digital health datasets
+ Familiarity with machine learning concepts and basic statistical methods
+ Experience with additional tools such as R, Power BI, or data visualization libraries
+ Research or industry experience in neuroscience, bioengineering, or health technology
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment
**Internship Details**
+ **Location:** Remote
+ **Travel:** No travel expected
+ **Hours:** Full‑time (40 hours/week)

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
$23.00/hr to $51.50/hr
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The expected pay range for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
