Join GSK as a Management Accounting Intern in Costa Rica within the SMAS team (Specialised Management Accounting Services). Our goal is to deliver high quality management accounting services to manufacturing sites and external supply business with main focus on providing accurate, timely financial reports and analysis that support our stakeholders in making business decisions The Management Accounting Intern position is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial processes, collaborate with a dynamic team, and contribute to meaningful projects. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, develop your skills, and play a key role in supporting our accounting operations. In this role, you will: Assist with financial reconciliations and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support inventory and cost analysis processes to optimize data quality. Collaborate with internal teams to address accounting queries and resolve issues. Prepare documentation for audits and internal controls. Monitor key performance indicators and contribute to process improvements. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives. Qualifications/Skills: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting or Business Administration. Advance English proficiency (spoken and written). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred: Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems. Experience in accounting, cost analysis or shared service environments. Knowledge of audit processes and internal controls. Interest in continuous improvement and project management.
