In Asia Pacific, ING offers wholesale banking across 11 markets, namely Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING's Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia, which includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending and Transaction Services and other support functions.
Department overview
Loan Distribution Group is an integral part of the wider Capital Markets and Advisory (CMA) team at ING. The Loan Sales team within Loan Distribution Group is the face to the market for all transactions where loans and loan-based products are distributed to the wider investor community. Type of transactions include primary loan syndications and secondary loan sales. The Loan Syndicate team, operating across three locations in Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore, supports the various ING product teams in obtaining financing mandates where the financing requirement is greater than ING’s capacity or willingness to provide on a standalone basis. The type of transactions the department is involved with ranges from plain vanilla corporate loans to various highly structured facilities.
Duties and responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the intern is to support the activities of the more senior members of the Loan Distribution Group in Asia Pacific, including:
Maintaining MIS reports
providing comparative/analytical or marketing information for pitches
putting together / coordinating pitching materials
assisting on deal execution during a syndication or secondary sale process
maintaining KYC requirements as per ING standards
assisting on roadshows
drafting transaction teasers or information memorandum
Fulfilling other responsibilities as specified from time to time by the Head, Directors or Vice Presidents
