About TWDC Corporate Communications

The Southeast Asia (SEA) Corporate Communications team supports a broad range of communications efforts and activities across all business lines, including executive communications, media relations, employee communications, enterprise social responsibility (ESR), research, writing and content development.

This role will gain exposure in the planning and execution of communication strategies and activities, collaborating across various lines of businesses in Disney to deliver communications initiatives across Southeast Asia including Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines.

The position will provide support on the planning and implementation of a range of external and internal campaigns and will help to coordinate all aspects of operational workflows across the region to ensure they are executed effectively.

Responsibilities:

Conduct daily media monitoring and track relevant news coverageResearch and report on media coverage Support the planning and execution of Enterprise Social Responsibility (ESR) programsAssist in delivering internal communications initiatives, employee engagement activities, and eventsContribute to the development of communications materials — including press releases, speeches, talking points, and moreParticipate in team brainstorms and strategy sessionsGenerate fresh, creative ideas to elevate communications campaigns and storytellingCoordinate with vendors on invoicing, payment processing, and administrative needsManage vendor relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time 

Internship Requirements:

Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degreeStill an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship periodMust be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2026Indicate your internship availability (start and end date) in your resumeIndicate your expected graduation date in your resume

Requirements:

Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related fieldInterest or knowledge of The Walt Disney Company’s key brands - Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and StarHighly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for communicationsAbility to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environmentStrong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teamsSelf-starter that needs minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectationsStrategic thinker with good communications skillsProficient in MS Office and KeynoteExcellent command of written and spoken EnglishAbility to utilize media monitoring tools will be a plus
