Join the Publix Transportation Systems Development Team “Where Development is a Pleasure.” Our team is growing, and we are looking for an Intermediate Software Engineer that wants to grow with us. This position will play a key role in the design, development, testing and implementation of Transportation systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, planning, development, and problem-solving skills, and excel at communicating effectively with management, peers, technology vendors, and business customers.
 
Job Responsibilities:Contribute to the design and develop enterprise-grade technology solutions with a focus on system performance, cross-system interdependence, stability, scalability, and usability.Utilize modern development methodologies with a cloud-first approach, incorporating CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.Participate in application design and development meetings, employing both Agile and traditional methodologies.Create comprehensive documentation for technical design, system specifications, and desired test outcomes.Participate in an on-call rotation for production support.
