**Job Title: Interior Technician**
**Job Description**
As an Aircraft Interior Technician, you will perform rework, repairs, and installations/modifications on Boeing 787 aircraft. You will work with various aircraft parts, including wings, cockpit, and interiors.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform mechanical rework of non-conformities, including installation, adjustment, part replacement, calibration, and modification.
+ Carry out cosmetic rework of interior cabin components by cleaning, sanding, painting, filing, and cosmetic sealing.
+ Perform electrical rework such as bond and ground, resistance measurements, harness installation, and simple electrical troubleshooting.
+ Read, understand, and follow engineering drawings, diagrams, specifications, and work instructions.
+ Communicate status updates with multiple customers both orally and in writing in a timely and professional manner.
+ Support a wide range of customer interior components, such as galleys, lavatories, and seating.
+ Verify and order parts and standards needed to complete rework as required.
+ Ensure maintenance of a FOD-free work environment, including ongoing control of materials, tools, and general housekeeping.
+ Perform daily documentation of all work performed in the internal database.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience working on aircraft interiors, preferably with Boeing 787 aircraft.
+ Ability to read blueprints and engineering documents.
+ Experience with decorative finishes such as file, sand, paint, and decorative laminate.
+ Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal software applications.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 4+ years of interiors experience in MRO/Heavy Maintenance/Depot level environments.
+ Familiarity with Boeing Aircraft, particularly the B787.
+ Experience in high precision drilling and reaming of different materials like composites, aluminum, and titanium.
+ Ability to pull holes, fix mismatches, and backdrill/match drill parts.
+ Experience in composite repairs such as potting, plugging, and surface repairs.
+ Preferred experience with Velocity/MES/SAP/Catia and REDARS, along with knowledge of BAC and “D” documents.
+ Understanding of airbrushing/painting cosmetic interior paint touch-ups.

**Work Environment**
Work on a medium-sized team on-site at Boeing. The role involves working shifts from Thursday through Monday with varying hours. Must be able to work in an environment subject to changing climate conditions and have the ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and work stands unassisted. The dress code is not specified, but a professional appearance is expected.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
