Interior DesignerRole Overview:Perform complex interior design tasks with detailed instructions.Collaborate with the project team to complete various project phases.Responsibilities:Keep the project or its phases on schedule.Select and specify interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and artwork.Develop practical, aesthetic, and safe design concepts that meet client goals and budget.Conduct space planning, layout, and coordination of furnishings, equipment, lighting, and colors.Coordinate color and material palettes.Integrate sustainable design solutions into projects.Create 2D and 3D design presentations.Prepare and conduct client presentations.Update documents during design phases.Assist in subcontracting fabrication, installation, and arrangement of materials and furnishings.Communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in interior design or foreign equivalent. 6 plus years’ experience; or equivalent in appropriate education and experience required. Project size range 30,000 SF plus. LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
