Interim Financial Accountant Location: Manchester (2–3 days on site) Rate: £60,000 p.a. / Day rate equivalent Contract: Interim

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Interim Financial Accountant to join a dynamic, fast-paced finance team. This role is ideal for a second-time mover from practice with strong technical expertise in IFRS, consolidations, and statutory reporting. You will thrive in a changing environment, working to tight deadlines, and delivering board-level approved outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS.

Produce statutory accounts and manage technical reporting requirements.

Ensure the accuracy of financial consolidations across multiple entities.

Work closely with senior stakeholders, including board members, to present financial results.

Adapt to shifting priorities and business changes on a daily basis.

Manage own workload effectively, ensuring deadlines are met in a high-pressure environment.

Communicate clearly and confidently with colleagues at all levels.

Key Requirements:

ACA /ACCA ideally a second-time mover from practice.

Proven experience in consolidations, IFRS, and statutory accounts.

Strong technical reporting skills and attention to detail.

Exceptional time management and organisational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
