Parsons is anticipating the need for an Interface Manager to join our team and support on a complex infrastructure project in Dublin.
The Interface Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all interface activities across planning, logistics, construction integration, and security. The role ensures effective cross-functional collaboration and seamless stakeholder integration throughout both the pre-construction and delivery phases of a complex infrastructure project.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop and implement an interface strategy covering the full project lifecycle, ensuring effective coordination between contracts, systems, and stakeholders.Identify, define, and manage all key interfaces, ensuring clear responsibilities, ownership, and integration boundaries.Coordinate and manage engagement with internal teams, client partners, and external stakeholders to support successful project delivery.Ensure effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and interfacing parties.Plan and execute interface activities in line with HSSEQ, scope, schedule, and cost requirements.Provide technical leadership and guidance to the interface team and support efficient delivery of works.Coordinate with project teams on specifications, standards, construction supervision, testing, and acceptance of completed works.Ensure alignment between technical disciplines (ex. civil, electrical, mechanical, architectural, and structural) so that interfaces function as intended.What Required Skills You'll Bring:
15+ years experience, including at least 7 years in interface, construction, or project management on large, complex infrastructure projects.Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in relevant subject area e.g., engineering, construction, project managementProven experience delivering projects across the full lifecycle, from concept through handover.Demonstrated capability in managing and integrating complex, multi-disciplinary projects.Experience managing contractors, consultants, and advisors within regulated environments, including NEC contracts.Strong track record of delivery within safety-critical environments and promoting a positive safety culture.Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups and influencing at all organizational levels.Commitment to driving best practice in technical delivery, processes, standards, and governance.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Ability to manage multiple technical disciplines and teams within a complex construction environment.Strong capability to manage technical outputs and drive efficiency and quality.Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and issue-resolution skills.Six Sigma (or equivalent) preferred, with professional membership of a recognized institution such as SCSI, RICS, CIOB, IEI, CIArb, or equivalent.Note: This position is contingent upon project award and future funding, this exciting new opportunity is planned to commence in Spring 2026.
