About the Role
We are looking for a Project Interface Engineer to manage and coordinate interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) activities for FPSO/FSO projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless communication, issue resolution, and integration between multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate project interfaces between engineering contractors, shipyards, vendors, and regulatory bodies. Maintain and control the Interface Register, Management of Change (MOC), deviations, and technical queries. Ensure effective communication and timely information flow across internal teams and external stakeholders. Support project planning and contribute to weekly progress and interface reporting. Coordinate resolution of interface issues and support timely decision-making. Ensure compliance with classification societies and regulatory authorities (e.g. ABS, Flag State, PNG regulatory). Support project objectives, schedule milestones, and mechanical completion. Promote HSE best practices and ensure QA/QC requirements are followed on site. RequirementsExperience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a project interface role, preferably in FSO/FPSO hull conversion projects. Experience handling interfaces across multiple disciplines (marine, mechanical, piping, E&I). Good understanding of shipyard construction, schedule, and resource planning. Knowledge of international shipyard operations is an advantage.Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or equivalent.
