The lead accounting analyst is a key member of the RTR Team, responsible for being the first escalation point of contact for internal customers, track, evaluate and propose improvements to the operational performance of RTR team. **What you will do** + Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Intercompany accounting related processes, to provide guidance and develop technical skills & knowledge of other junior analysts. + Perform complex account reconciliations and MEC processes and complex accounting issues. + Review and approve Journal entries, account reconciliations as assigned. + Coordinate closing and other key deliverables assigned by Supervisor. + Identify and lead opportunities to improve, automate, simplify, or standardize processes; creates projects to execute on those opportunities. + Responsible to execute assigned SOX controls and other activities related to internal and external audit requirements. + Build strong relationship with key stakeholders. + Work closely with markets and local accounting teams to resolve discrepancies, issues, and queries in a timely manner by escalating to Supervisor as required. **What you need** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. + Fluent spoken and written English/Portuguse is a plus. + Familiar with SAP, Blackline, Oracle or JDE. + Experience using HMF.
