Under direct supervision of the FP&A Manager and a dotted line to the Director of Costing Strategy, this role will be responsible for creating simple, clear, and concise reporting on intercompany performance, margin analysis, and variance drivers of service line and customer profitability (revenue and direct costs). With an attention to detail and producing professional work, you will improve the visual presentation of reporting, prioritising user experience and ease to understand the key messages.

This role will drive improved business insights through greater data visibility and decision impact analysis across operations and commercial teams. This role will lead initiatives to create standardised global reporting formats, train business users to increase usage / adoption and support automation of reports into Dashboards.

This role will foster a continuous improvement culture and “active listening” to report user needs, ensuring feedback is translated into enhancement projects documented on an improvement roadmap for each report. This role will lead initiatives (requesting analytics team support where necessary) to rollout regular improvements; keeping report users informed for upcoming updates.

This role will be expected work from our Cencora office location a minimum of 2 days a week.

Responsibilities:

Create and own standard set of intercompany performance reporting. Ensure accuracy of reported intercompany revenue and costs on the P&L.

Perform analysis on profitability and pricing to identify key drivers and determine opportunities for improvement

Own initial analysis of variance drivers, taking initiative to ask country teams for extra information

Support ad hoc analysis requests: ensuring analysis clearly answers the business request

Collaborate with action owners to ensure business actions are progressed and actioned

Document preparation methodology and data sources of all performance reporting

Create and maintain visualization dashboards from complex datasets, and present key KPI’s to all relevant stakeholders

Drive continuous improvement of reporting and dashboards based on user feedback

Education:

Educated to at least bachelor’s degree level in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, finance, data analysis, or similar vocations

Minimum three years’ experience in business role (logistics or healthcare desirable)

Experience managing small projects or improving processes is desirable

Skills & Knowledge:

Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Strong experience with Excel tools and formulas including pivot tables, lookups, index/match, if statements. Experience with macros and VBA preferred but not required.Strong PowerBI experience

Experience with SQL and Python a plus

Confident user of Microsoft Teams & Outlook applications

Strong experience with working through complex datasets and translating data into user-friendly visualization dashboards

Comfortable with learning remotely

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Able to explain and present work in a simple, clear, and concise matter

Understand the concepts and methodologies of costing

Interest in continuous improvement and project management principles

Work Experience:

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, data analysis, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. 

Normally requires a minimum of 2+ years of directly related and progressively responsible experience or a Master’s degree.

Knowledge of various finance areas such as cost analysis, plan development, variance explanations, and monthly close

Experience with creating and updating budgeting models within Microsoft Excel

Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements

Knowledge of Microsoft Office with heavy emphasis in Excel Experience working with large datasets within Microsoft Excel.

Intermediate experience with Excel tools and formulas including pivot tables, graphs, charts, vlookups, sumifs, if statements

Previous experience with SAP preferred

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
