Entering this domain positions you at the heart of IBM, where growth and innovation thrive. **Your role and responsibilities** Research markets and competitive landscapes to find business opportunities for the monetization of IBM's patents through licensing and sales. Develop materials, such as patent claim mappings and portfolio value presentations, to demonstrate the value of IBM's Patents to prospective clients in both licensing and sales. Support business development executives by researching third-party products and services to identify infringement or potential licensing opportunities. **Required technical and professional expertise** * A technical background, in computer science, engineering, or a related field, to understand and value IBM's technology portfolio. * The ability to efficiently analyze large data sets, research complex topics, and synthesize findings for leadership. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * An understanding of patent law, licensing, and enforcement.
