We're seeking a creative and driven Integration Engineering Specialist to contribute to our mission of developing industry-leading loaders (Compact Track Loader & Skid Steer Loader). You'll leverage your unique expertise within a collaborative team focused on machine performance and product development excellence.
You'll be central to Controls development, ensuring seamless integration of software requirements into robust machine controls. This involves leading and supporting the entire development lifecycle, from concept to field.
What You Will Do:
You'll serve as the primary contact for Integration Software Requirements across all relevant organizations and value streams, including Software Coordinators, Lead Software Developers (Machine, Display, Network Manager), and Factory, Quality, and Product Support personnel.
Software & Controls:Develop and maintain Standard Test Procedures for product group software regression testing.Lead comprehensive regression testing of core machine functions and work tool integration, in close collaboration with CAT Command and Autonomy Integration engineers. This testing will be executed by you, the Performance and Integration team, and other engineers & operators.Become the product expert for Product Link and remote flashing.Factory Product Software Programming System (PSPS) & In-Process Validation (IPV):Write and maintain Consist To Configuration (CTC) rules, collaborating and collating requirements from Integration Engineers, Software coordinators, and Configurators. Highly sought opportunity to improve this process.Coach and mentor on machine performance features and operation across the organization.Potential to develop control strategies and tune machine systems as programs progress and new projects are on-boarded.Partner with our manufacturing team to:Ensure robust delivery of PSPS requirements to the FactoryHelp identify machine performance characteristics requiring Factory IPV testingProvide guidance on test procedures to capture design-intent of machine characteristicsProvide first responder support to the IPV team as issues arise in the FactoryHelp that team grow their machine expertiseBe the primary point of collaboration for this team, with access to and engagement from other Integration, Hydraulics, and Electrical resources within the orgWhat You Have (Basic Qualifications):
Degree requirement: Bachelor’s degree in engineering.Analytical & Critical Thinking: Skilled in root cause analysis, developing alternatives, and making sound, data-driven decisions.Project Management: Proficient in planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling projects to achieve objectives efficiently. Able to clearly transmit, receive, and interpret information.O365 Proficiency: Required to organize information, preserve work, and share knowledge using the latest O365 communication and storage tools.Product Lifecycle Management: Experience in all phases of product development from concept to market, including testing strategies and execution to ensure quality.Technical Troubleshooting: Adept at anticipating, detecting, and resolving technical issues in manufacturing or product development.Top Candidates Will Have:

Office Model: This position requires the employee to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.Travel: 5% domestic and international travel is expected.Relocation: Domestic relocation will be available to those who qualify.ISE: Not available.Visa Sponsorship: Not available.Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
