Integrated Production Director

P&G CHINA is looking for a special candidate to join the Brand-Building Integrated Communication Department (BBIC) in the Production function.


Job Description:

This role has responsibility for the production of excellent communication executions (TV, print, digital, etc.) at the best cost for P&G’s brands in China. This includes:

Consumer communication development –

1) Consults on translation of strategies and executions into communication objectives to be used in production process.

2) Provides expert input during communication development process to deliver excellent executions.

3) Manages production process to maximize ROI and save costs, including technical approval of costs.

Relationships with Content Creators and Agencies –

1) Recommend and implement policies, procedures and Corporate guidelines to meet Company’s changing needs and to ensure effective/ efficient production.

2) Build productive relationships with external creative and production partners

3) Train key Agencies and content partners on new learning and process changes.


Qualifications Required

This role requires

1) Deep China Advertising Industry knowledge and experience with advertising agencies, TV / internet channels, digital platforms, production talents and production houses in China as a producer, creative or account person.

2) Significant experience with Video

3) Fluent Mandarin and acceptable English skills are critical.


Location:

We have a strong preference for the successful candidate to be based in GUANGZHOU, CHINA, BUT could

be anywhere in China if the candidate is exceptional, and if he/ she commits to

a) spending the first year in Guangzhou/ elsewhere for training purposes, and b) spending at least 10 working days per month in Guangzhou, after the training period.


Other Information:

Extensive ongoing business travel will be required both in China and abroad, for production shoots, to run training sessions and for strategy sessions with other department members in Asia and globally.
