The Opportunity:
The Integrated Air Missile Defense (IAMD) Systems Integrator will be part of a team that serves as the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) Commander's and Staff Director's principal advisor on employment options and communication link architecture for CJTF-HOA Integrated Air Missile Defense/Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems
(IAMD/C-UAS) C2 systems at US installations in East Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise military leadership on employment options and communication link architecture for CJTF-HOA IAMD/C-UAS C2systems.Provide system capability assessments and configuration recommendations for Command and Control Centers.Assist Tactical Director when required, ensuring operational continuity and mission success.Lead training programs for assigned personnel, aligning with METT-TC tactical planning principles.Coordinate emplacement of assets and soft ware adaptations to support evolving mission requirements.Advise on task force organization and asset reconstitution strategies.Manage data link operations, including prioritization and SOP development for link initializationOversee installation, integration, and repair of C2 systems and ancillary equipment using BIT/BITE procedures.Train personnel on diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and fault isolation techniques.Establish repair priorities based on operational urgency and asset availability.Contribute to the development of Field SOPs, Tactical SOPs, and internal procedures.Serve as instructor, curriculum developer, and assist evaluation for C2 networking service.


Instruction and Development:

Advise SECFOR and CFTF-HOA and leadership on C2 system capabilities and integration into joint/combined operations.Interface with senior commanders across services to support tactical deployment and interoperability.Provide integration and tactical guidance for CJTF-HOA C2 IAMD/C-UAS elements at strategic levels.Collaborate with weapons procurement officials on future system enhancements.Act as combat developer for training institutions and doctrine refinementStrategic Leadership and Liaison:Deliver leadership, guidance, and tactical input to subordinate units and staff agencies through CJTF-HOA level.Advise senior leadership at the CJTF-HOA on C2 network matters and strategic initiatives

Qualifications:
 

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:  

Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) CertifiedCurrent, in scope, TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearanceFamiliarity with the Joint Planning ProcessExcellent written and verbal communications and briefing skills.Experience with Microsoft Office Applications.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:  

Experience in the AFRICOM AOR.Understanding of both kinetic and non-kinetic C-UAS systemsJoint Operations experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300-$189,600
