**The Opportunity**
As a **Principal Business Analyst & Demand/Intake Manager for R&D DD&T Hyperautomation service** , you will combine strong end-to-end business analysis capability with ownership of the **Use case demand intake and delivery pipeline** . You will partner with business requestors, platform owners, development and QA teams to ensure automations and digital workflow initiatives are **well-defined, feasible, secure, compliant, resourced, and executed with quality** . You will lead requirement discovery and documentation for medium to high complexity work, drive clarity through user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage intake processes, prioritization, resourcing, and knowledge transfer to support successful delivery.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1) Automation Use case - Demand Intake & Pipeline Management**
+ Lead the **demand/intake process** for incoming initiatives: capture requests, validate outcomes, clarify scope, confirm assumptions, and ensure readiness for estimation and planning.
+ Run structured **triage** (e.g., automation suitability, complexity, risk/compliance, integration needs, data sensitivity, environment strategy) and route demand to the right path (RPA delivery team vs low-code workflow vs process improvement).
+ Manage and forecast the **demand delivery pipeline** aligned to portfolio/business planning (monthly/quarterly), maintaining visibility of priorities, dependencies, constraints, and delivery readiness.
+ Assess feasibility and coordinate with relevant functions to evaluate impacts/dependencies related to **technical environments (Microsoft/AWS/Infrastructure), connectors/integrations, orchestration, monitoring, testing, training, and support** .
+ Communicate intake outcomes, priorities, dependencies, risks, and ambiguities to stakeholders and governance/leadership forums.
**2) Business Analysis**
+ Independently deliver business analysis outputs for **medium to high complexity** initiatives according to standards.
+ Elicit and document requirements through workshops, interviews, process walkthroughs, and refinement sessions—translating business intent into implementable automation scope.
+ Decompose needs into **user stories** , **acceptance criteria** , and clear **functional/non-functional requirements** , including:
+ process steps, variants, and exception handling
+ volumes, timing, SLAs, and operational constraints
+ auditability, logging, traceability, and reporting needs
+ security, access model, and data handling expectations
+ Produce and maintain up-to-date documentation for assigned solutions (e.g., process maps, system interactions, data flows, integration points, operational runbooks inputs).
**3) Delivery Enablement, Testing & Quality Collaboration**
+ Partner with Power Platform engineers/RPA developers, QA, and platform owners to **validate user stories** , refine edge cases, and ensure build feasibility.
+ Support testing strategy and execution: test scenarios, UAT planning/support, defect triage, and review of QA outcomes to ensure production readiness.
+ Support definition of **POCs** and success criteria (benefit targets, cycle time reduction, error-rate reduction, controls).
+ Provide ongoing delivery updates; proactively manage changes, issues, risks, and escalations.
**4) Knowledge Transfer, Support Transition & Capability Building**
+ Define and implement a consistent approach for **knowledge capture and transfer** (design decisions, automation logic, exception handling, credential strategy, monitoring, runbooks).
+ Develop functional training and knowledge transfer plans; validate effectiveness (handover checklists, support readiness, hypercare approach).
+ Review analytical outputs for completeness and alignment with standards; coach/guide junior colleagues and contribute to intake and BA playbooks for Power Platform RPA.
**Skills & Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or equivalent experience).
+ **12+ years** experience in Business Analysis (or closely related roles), including ownership of medium–high complexity initiatives.
+ Experience operating in **Lean/Agile** delivery; comfortable with backlog-driven workflows (e.g., Jira/Confluence-style).

+ Demonstrated ability to:
+ elicit, analyze, and document requirements end-to-end
+ write high-quality **user stories and acceptance criteria**
+ document **process/data flows and system interactions** and keep them current
+ organize, prioritize, and break down complex problems
+ Practical experience with **intake/demand processes** , high-level planning, and cross-functional coordination.
+ Comfort collaborating on testing activities (test scenario definition, UAT support, QA result reviews).
**Technical / Domain Skills**
+ Microsoft Power Platform experience, including:
+ Power Automate (cloud flows), approvals, and integration patterns
+ Power Apps and Dataverse fundamentals (where applicable)
+ environment strategy, solutions, ALM concepts (where applicable)
+ RPA concepts, orchestration/monitoring, exception handling, operational stability.
+ Data analysis for validation/troubleshooting (e.g., SQL-like querying where applicable; logs/telemetry interpretation).
+ Modeling knowledge (e.g., BPMN/UML) and ability to create clear process diagrams/specifications.
+ Experience working across multiple enterprise systems/integrations (APIs, file exchange, legacy apps).

+ Working knowledge of **AWS** fundamentals relevant to automation and integration (accounts, regions, IAM concepts, networking basics).
+ Experience collaborating on or consuming **AWS-hosted integrations** (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda, ECS/EKS endpoints) from Power Platform/RPA solutions.
