Job Title: Insurance Verification Specialist Location: Tulsa, OK (Onsite) Type: Contract-to-Hire Pay: $16 – $18 per hour System One is partnering with a Specialty Care Clinic in Tulsa to hire an experienced Insurance Verification Specialist. This role is key in ensuring patients have accurate coverage, proper authorizations, and a clear understanding of their benefits. Responsibilities: + Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage. + Obtain and document prior authorizations for procedures/referrals. + Communicate with insurance companies, providers, and patients to resolve issues. + Review policies to confirm benefits, co-pays, deductibles, and costs. + Maintain accurate records in the EHR system. + Support billing to ensure smooth claims processing. + Provide excellent customer service to patients and families. Qualifications: + High school diploma required; Associate’s preferred. + 2–3 years of experience in insurance verification, prior authorization, or medical billing. + Strong knowledge of insurance processes and terminology. + Proficiency with EHR systems and healthcare software. + Detail-oriented, organized, and strong communication skills. + Able to work independently and as part of a team.
