Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Insurance Verification Coordinator to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate insurance verification processes and supporting patient care coordination. This is a long-term contract position, offering an opportunity to collaborate with clinical teams and contribute to operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Verify insurance coverage and authorization for patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with clinical teams, social workers, and other staff to support seamless patient care.
• Maintain and update patient charts with accurate documentation using industry-standard software.
• Generate reports and analyze data using Excel to support operational needs.
• Serve as backup for team members when necessary, contributing to a supportive and cohesive work environment.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and insurance providers to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook for correspondence and scheduling while ensuring punctuality and reliability.
• Work onsite five days a week to provide consistent support to the team.
• Uphold high standards of time management, organization, and attention to detail in daily responsibilities. Requirements • Proven experience in medical insurance verification, billing, and authorization processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing and detail-oriented demeanor.
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with clinical teams and social workers in a healthcare environment.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and report generation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and patient chart documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to onsite work five days per week.
