Job Purpose:Support the delivery of insurance function services within Brazil including the provision of advice and guidance to the business on event based insurable risk. Contribute to IRM initiatives to help drive continuous improvements of the Insurance service offering contributing to the success of the business in meeting their commercial objectives.Liaise with key stakeholders including the business at functional and site management levels, insurers, brokers, IRM Globally and within Brazil.Assist with the renewal of non-life Insurance programs, whether placed locally or centrally, within a group placement for all divisions, subsidiaries and associated companies. Your tasks:
Assist with the delivery & management of Insurance strategy throughout Brazil including risk identification, collection & validation of exposure information, obtaining terms, supporting offer & acceptance process, overseeing premium collection process and evidencing of insurance.Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of DHL Group operating businesses, their business model, organizational structures and the role Insurance & Risk Management performs in support of their business Execute effective insurance services in line with IRM strategy.Act as point of first reference for BU’s across all divisions and at all levels for queries on Insurance programs.Ensure alignment with IRM global insurance program managers on any local insurance placement prior to renewal or request for quotations/proposals. Collaborate and assist in the placement of any local coverage.Maintain details of local and global program insurance placements for the region including accurate market share information, historical exposure, policy and premium spend.Assist in the preparation and delivery of business reviews with operating units. Identify areas for process improvement, propose and align solutions with stakeholders and implement agreed actions.Support Insurance manager with review of insurance program performance including claims in order to identify trends and make risk management recommendations where appropriate.Provide occasional technical support and assistance to support other core services managed by GBS IRM including the CRM & Claims Management.Support PRE (Property Risk Engineering to coordinate with Business Units the Property Risk Surveys on key DHL premises, arranged by fronting insurer.Your profile:Education Level
Complete higher education in Administration, Economics, Law, Insurance Management or related areas.Desirable postgraduate degree or professional certification in insurance, risk management or related areas (e.g. ACII, CPCI, CEBS)Experience Level
Minimum of 10 years of experience of Insurance within a global multinational insurance company, broker or in-house risk function.Proven experience in managing local and global insurance programs with experience in reviewing and negotiating contractual clauses related to insurance.Proven track record acting as a first point of contact for insurance and risk questions, delivering solutions, providing support and developing continuous improvement.
