Insurance Client Executive - Munster Region

We are seeking a talented and pro-active individual to join our team at Marsh Ireland as a Client Executive.

This is a perfect role for someone with a strong background in Corporate or Commercial insurance, having worked in a Client Executive or Broking type role or within the Commercial Underwriting sector and is looking to move into a new and exciting role within an established, market leading insurance broker.

This role can be based in our Cork or Limerick offices.

We will rely on you to:

Relationship Management

Seek and build strong relationships at executive and operational levels and communicate the client’s strategy across Marsh resources, including having a full understanding of the client’s buying styles and Risk and Insurance requirementsResponsibility for a portfolio of predominantly commercial, Corporate and Multinational clients.Act as an ambassador for Marsh with the client and within the insurance industryManage the communication between the client and service team membersUnderstand client business issues, needs and expectationsSeek feedback on Marsh’s service through ongoing client dialogue

Client Service

Identify the client’s risk management, risk financing and insurance needs and objectivesActively monitor vulnerable client relationships and report if under threat to appropriate teamProvide leadership by example of the proactive and enthusiastic service levels expected from client service teamsAct as a referral point for the resolution of complex client queries internally and externallyAgree and set renewal client service and rolling risk & claims management strategy with the client in accordance with Consumer Protection Code and Marsh DES guidelines.Use of Acturis as the Client record management tool

Sales & Business Growth

Lead & develop new business initiatives including referral generationWork with Marsh Business Development Team to indentify, strategize and prospect potential new clientsAchieve pre-agreed new business Sales targetsLeverage existing client book of business to obtain Expanded salesEnsure New and Expanded business is properly recorded within Marsh systems & tools

People

Ensure a personal development plan is in place to grow knowledge of client’s business sector, commercial knowledge, insurance and risk and technical knowledgeAssist with the personal development of other team members

What you will need to have:

CIP qualifiedExperience in a similar role and strong knowledge of the industryThe ability to maintain a high level of client service delivery adapting to client requirements and ensuring that client satisfaction is consistently high.Strong Financial Awareness and Commercial AcumenThe ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesExcellent Business and Market Awareness and a strong networkResults focused with the ability to deliver against challenging targetsThe ability to maintain clear lines of communication with various internal and external stakeholdersThe ability to identify areas to improve efficiency, accuracy and analysis and suggest ways of improvement
