FlexStaff is hiring a temporary Insurance Authorization Specialist to work with our client. 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Pay Rate: $20-25/hour dependent upon experience 

Obtain insurance verification for surgeriesConfirm if pre-authorization is neededConfirm with physician office to obtain pre-authorization if needed Calculate the patient’s expected payment at time of surgery (copay, deductible, coinsurance etc.)Call patient at least 72 hours in advance of their expected payment at the time of surgery

Qualifications: 

High School Diploma or equivalent, required. 0-1 year administrative experience, required.   Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), required.Ability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills.Ability to communicate effectively.*Additional Salary DetailThe salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
