Requirements

Level 2 General Insurance LicenseMinimum of 2 years commercial insurance experienceClient service focused with exceptional client service skillsExcellent insurance product knowledgeStrong attention to detail and accuracyThrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong initiative and sense of urgency to get things doneProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Asset experience that will make you stand out:

Industry designation an asset (CIP, CAIB, CRM, General Insurance & Risk Management Diploma – BCIT)EPIC, Policy Works, CSR24 and Certificate Exchange experience an assetAccounting experience is an asset

A Day in the Life

Delivers exceptional customer experience to internal and external customersDemonstrates commitment to teamwork by supporting Account Executive/Account Manager and Marketer with all aspects of servicing commercial accountsActs as primary Customer Service Contact in the absence of Account Executive/Account ManagerResponds to customer requests directly, submits information to appropriate insurance companies and binds coverage where appropriatePrepares proposals, rate sheets, customer correspondence, certificates, and invoices as per agency standardsPrepares cover notes on accounts marketed by production teamProcesses all documentation according to Hub workflowsAssists Account Executive/Account Manager with managing Account ReceivablesReviews and manages Account Reconciliation with Accounting TeamReviews and prioritizes all assigned tasks on a daily basis including company mail, emails, abeyances/activitiesReviews and ensures accuracy of policy documentation from insurers

The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
