**Insulator Journeyman - North Slope, Alaska (Job Number: 319756)** **Job Opportunity: Journeyman Insulator (North Slope, Alaska)** Location: North Slope, Alaska Duration: 4-6 weeks (based on job scope) Job Description: We are seeking experienced Journeyman Insulators with a minimum of 4 years of verifiable work history, ideally with metal insulation experience. Responsibilities: + Install insulation on various systems and equipment in a challenging industrial setting. + Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards. + Work 11 ½ hour shifts, continuously for the duration of the project (4-6 weeks). What We Offer: + Flights: PCL will supply round-trip flights from Anchorage to the North Slope and back. + Housing/Meals: Provided at the Man-Camp, including a place to do laundry. + Tools: All necessary tools are supplied. + Communication: ATT is the only working service on the Slope. Requirements: + Experience: 4+ years verifiable work history in insulation (metal experience preferred). + Drug/Alcohol Screen: Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. + North Slope Training: Candidates will need to complete 15 hours of required North Slope training, scheduled and paid for by PCL (Note: Training time is not considered paid work hours). + Arctic Wear: Candidates must supply their own Arctic wear for work from October 1 through May 1. Recommended brands include Refrigi-Wear or Big Ray's in Anchorage. + ID: driver’s license or another acceptable form of identification is required for air travel within the U.S. for travelers aged 18 or older.
