Job Description
A global leader in bioanalytic and biopharmaceutical testing is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity 8AM-5PM in Lancaster, PA. This person will be 50/50 in the laboratory and in an office setting. The ideal candidate has a background in physical science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, engineering, etc.). This is a highly regulated GMP/ GLP environment, so the integrity of their data is a key priority. Daily responsibilities are broken down into 3 main tasks: handling instrument emergencies, handling recurring maintenance needs/routine maintenance, and onboarding new instruments/integrating instruments into existing data center environments. Candidate will ensure all software and lab instruments are working properly and troubleshoot as needed. The ideal candidate will know or be willing to learn how to log in, navigate, and troubleshoot software. The salary range is $55k-$75k annually.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in science or IT related fields
- Open to candidates right out of college.
Hands on pharmaceutical instrument experience running instruments for testing, troubleshooting instrument issues, performing routine instrument maintenance (calibrations/qualifications, etc.), installing/validating/onboarding instrument.
Hands on software experience running software for testing, troubleshooting software issues, performing routine software maintenance (audit trail review, user account reviews, etc.), installing/validation/onboarding instrument.
Problem solving ability to work through technical/instrument/software problems/issues and troubleshoot independently.
Critical thinking ability to assess a situation/issue and make an informed decision (essential for troubleshooting). Experience working on mass spectrometer equipment null
