Instrumentation Engineer

Summary: Seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain avionics and flight instrumentation systems for small airframe aircraft.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline preferred

Experience with CAD software such as Vizio

Familiarity with Acra acquisition system is a strong plus

Preferred Skills:

Experience throughout the design and implementation lifecycle of instrumentation systems

Understanding of integrating avionics subsystems with aircraft wiring and data buses (e.g., ARINC 429, CAN bus, Ethernet)

Responsibilities:

Design and implement aircraft instrumentation and control systems for navigation, communication, and flight control

Integrate avionics subsystems with existing systems and resolve technical conflicts

Conduct system integration testing in lab and flight environments

Calibrate precision instruments to ensure optimal performance

Adhere to FAA/EASA regulatory standards

Collaborate with engineering disciplines and flight test personnel for seamless integration

Provide technical support to field engineers for installation and operational issues

Pay: 40-60

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
