Airswift is seeking a Lead – Instrument and Control professional to join a high-impact offshore oil and gas platform project based in Singapore. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader with deep regional experience and a passion for driving excellence in instrumentation design.

 

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the instrumentation and control design team for offshore platform projects. Oversee the full lifecycle of instrument and control system design, ensuring compliance with international and regional standards. Apply deep knowledge of marine engineering instrumentation, design principles, and control systems. Ensure adherence to international specifications including API, ISA, IEC, SHELL DEP, QP, and relevant industry regulations. Guide the team in using instrumentation design software such as SPI and INSTRUCALC for loop diagrams, control system configuration, and analysis. Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and external partners. Identify and resolve technical challenges swiftly and logically. Inspire and manage a high-performing team, fostering creativity and accountability.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Measurement & Control Technology, Instrumentation, or related fields. Minimum 15 years of experience in instrumentation design for offshore oil & gas platforms. At least 3 years in a core design or management role on offshore projects in Qatar or the Middle East. Strong command of English for professional communication and coordination. Proven leadership experience in managing instrumentation teams.
