Join a leading company in the oil and gas industry as an Instrument Maintenance Technician II in Midkiff, Texas, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing instrumentation systems to ensure high-quality production.

Role Overview

Plan, update, and oversee activities in compliance with laws, regulations, and procedures, emphasizing health, safety, and the environment. Encourage teamwork between operations, engineering, and project groups. Review control specifications and work practices. Manage control systems as defined in the Work Management Manual. Apply and follow work permits through the Permit To Work System (PTWS). Ensure quality and timely completion of scheduled maintenance work. Develop personal and team technical skills related to new regulations and equipment. Conduct technical meetings to keep technicians informed of specifications and technology. Maintain open communication on control issues with co-workers. Support work prioritization to maximize effectiveness. Provide technical support for maintenance and troubleshooting of instrument systems. Generate Management of Change requests (MOCs) for control-related equipment. Inspect new installations for consistency with mission objectives and recommend upgrades. Act as a stand-in for the Instrument Lead position as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with regulations applicable to oil and gas facility operations. Knowledge of OIMS systems, manuals, and procedures. Ability to meet safety, administrative, and technical training requirements. General competencies in Operations Integrity Critical competency requirements. Proficient computing skills.

Education & Experience

Associates degree, preferably enhanced by related technical school courses. Experience in maintaining Instruments and Controls in processing or offshore production plants.
